Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how Core Web Crafting (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website. We value and respect your privacy, and specifically aim to retain the minimum necessary information required to offer our services to you.

Information We Collect

Automatically Collected Information

We use Cloudflare Analytics and Umami Analytics to collect GDPR-Compliant anonymous usage data including:

  • Pages visited
  • Time spent on site
  • Technical information like browser type and device type
  • Geographic location (country/city level only)

Information You Provide

When you contact us through our forms, we collect only what you type:

  • Name and email address (required)
  • Company, phone, and the services you’re interested in (optional)
  • Your message

We do not record your IP address, browser fingerprint, or referring page with your submission.

How your contact form message is handled

So that a message can’t be lost if our email provider has an outage, your submission is saved first, then delivered:

  1. Your message is stored on our infrastructure at Cloudflare (United States) the moment you press Send.
  2. It is then emailed to us. If that email fails, the saved copy is retried automatically until it arrives — this is why nothing gets silently dropped.
  3. The stored copy is deleted within 90 days of successful delivery. Messages still awaiting delivery are kept until they reach us.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check. It processes your request to distinguish humans from automated traffic; it does not track you across websites.

We use what you send us only to respond to you. We never sell it, and we never use it for advertising.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Improve our website and services
  • Respond to your inquiries
  • Send you requested information about our services
  • Analyze website performance and usage patterns

Data Storage and Security

Our website is built using static pages hosted on Cloudflare. There is no content database behind the pages you browse, no user accounts, and no login.

The one exception is the contact form: as described above, what you submit is stored briefly on Cloudflare so your message can be delivered reliably, and is deleted within 90 days.

We do not:

  • Use cookies for tracking
  • Retain your contact form message beyond the 90-day window described above
  • Sell your information to third parties
  • Use your data for marketing purposes without consent

Payment and Billing Information

We use Wave for estimates, invoicing, payments, and accounting. If you become a client:

  • Your billing details (name, business name, contact details, and the services purchased) are stored in our Wave account so we can quote, invoice, and keep accurate books
  • Payment information is processed securely by Wave — we never see or store your full card or bank account numbers
  • Invoice and estimate records are retained as long as tax regulations require
  • We only hold the minimum necessary information to bill you and meet our accounting obligations

This applies to clients, not to visitors browsing the site or sending a contact form message.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of your personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data — including any contact form message still within the 90-day window
  • Object to processing of your personal data

How to make a request

Use our contact form and tick “Privacy / personal data request”. To help us find your information and respond quickly, please include in your message:

  1. Which of the rights above you want to exercise
  2. The email address you used when you contacted us, if it differs from the one you’re writing from
  3. Roughly when you contacted us, if you remember

We’ll respond within 30 days. If we need to verify your identity first, we’ll only ask for what’s necessary to match your request to our records — never more.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
